!!!! ok i need EVERYONES input !!!!!!
hi guys i have decided to wait untill feb next year when i have estimated that i will have enough cash + sale of the commodore to equal $20,000.
my problem is that i have so many options open to me at $20,000 that i have no idea what to do.
FIRST THINGS FIRST!!! IT IS GOING INTO A CAR (no investing, or anything else) this might seem silly to some people for such a young person to spend so much on a car but its what i have decided to do. i have saved the money myself, my patents are not helping me out at all.
second thing, i am on p plates, so keeping well away from turbo's, superchargers and v8's, for police and insurance reasons. how ever what ever i get will have engine work eventually done to it (say within 6 months of me buying it). but it ill look stock.
now the ideas i have had so far are:
1) keep the vt, make it an individual and do some engine work.
2) buy a 2004 or latery subaru liberty
3) buy a damaged monaro cv6 (i dont know if they are all supercharged, if they are i will simply remove the charger) then repair it.
4)(the one im looking mostly into) by a ba-bf xr6 manual
5) bf ghia 6 speed auto (probably damaged)
please if there is another car or idea feel free to let me know, it would be much appreciated.
any idea is most welcome to be displayed, like i have already said, if for some reason you think my idea is stupid....well i don't really care as it is my money not yours, so please keep those kinds of posts out.
kind regards Johnny

Dont waste your time and hard earned money! Wait untill your off your P's and then spend it on a V8. Done and Done.

Yep, couldnt agree more. I saved up and bought a v6 manual and now im sick of it. looking at V8's now due to how simple i can get power. V6 is a good motor but by no means is it a 'power house'. save some more money and wait till your on your fulls then get the 8

yeah thats him. probably be easier to throw an ecotec engine in and sell the l67, but then you would destroy any resale value that monaro has. in that case youre better off keeping the VT.

You will need ecotech heads, ecotech manifold, fuel rails, injectors and get beaten by a stock VN due to the fact a low comp ecotech will be a monster slug.
