I just bought a new fuel filter for my VX Calais and found it quite interesting to read on the box that it was a genuine Holden filter made in Great-Britain, but when i opened the box the filter had made in Poland written on it. Does this mean that the box is made in Great-Britain but the filter is made in Poland , then they are sent to Melbourne Australia and sold as Genuine Holden Parts.
Made in china under lic to Poland under lic to England under lic to Holden. Lucky the instructions will be in Ingwish for easy fitment.

I don't think it makes a great deal of difference where it's made.
The Ryco brand itself is guarantee of quality enough, despite studying marketing, it still works on me.
I don't see the point in paying a ridiculous Holden markup for the genuine product unless it ensures you keep you warranty.
Btw, stuff made in China is awesome. he price trade off is usually worth the quality one.
