    Well series 2 will be newer, and car companies won't downgrade their product in the newer series.
    Usually there are interior upgrades, slight exterior touches, and I think VR had a few mechanical changes. Someone will be able to tell you exactly what changes from series 1-2.
    I wouldn't pass up a series 1 VR/S just for that reason though

    VS series 2 are the go... VRI VRII and VSI all used trans cooler hoses, they always leak VS II revised the trans cooler line setup. and deleted the use of cooler hoses.
    Generally speaking striker series II of any model is usually the way to go. So yea a few minor mechanical changes between I and II in the vs but mostly the same.

    what do you mean they deleted cooler hoses, do you mean in place of high pressure lines? because they all have a cooler and lines, it's just the high pressure rubber hoses that join the lines to the radiator that they got rid of.
