    Default Brembo Brake Caliper Covers

Hi guys, just want your opinion on something...

i have spotted some brake covers which appear as though they just sit right on top of your existing brake calipers. they give the illusion that you have a big red brembo racing brake setup..

    here is the link
DISC BRAKE CALIPER COVER KIT (F/R) BREMBO LOOKS DUMMY - eBay Other Exterior, Exterior, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 23-Jun-08 00:41:22 AEST)

i reckon i have enough room between my calipers and my alloys, but do you reckon its a good idea to put em on...

dont be afraid to speak up.

I'm not a fan of the idea because you still have the small brakes. Won't fool anyone.

These have been brought up before and the general consensus was that they are crap and a waste of money. Why bother? Its like sticking HSV badges on an Exec or Chevvy Badges on a VZ. Youre not fooling anyone you just look stupid.

With the small stock rotors, it'll be a bit of a give away that you havn't really got a brake upgrade. Stick with stock, or get some SSZ brakes.

Been covered before. You may as well have a neon "I'm a wanker" sign in your back window.

Gay............Don't try and own something you don't. Buy real Brembo brakes, or paint the stock ones red. Whoever the tard is overseas in Malaysia who makes those things, should be shot.

Hahahaha i looked at the ad properley. Definantly an asian selling those, have a look at how the ad is worded. And the covers are made of plastic. Can't imagine they would last long anyway. Which is probably a good thing.

Just save up and buy some real Brembo brakes. Your brakes can never be too big. Real Brembo brakes look sweet sitting behind some thin spoke rims, say 19"s or something.

    Get em! because:

    • Women's clothes will rip away when you drive past them.
    • It will rain beer.
    • You will win all the lotto's in the same week.
    • Your sperm count will increase.
    • Your car will double its value.

... No but seriously i think they are one of the gayest things on ebay lol

But the HSV ones are much more expensive. I picked up some SSZ front and rear calipers, pads and machines rotors for $330 or so
The fronts are 320mm (normal 296mm).
