Default Snapped Ecotec Engine Cover Bolt

    Hi,

whilst putting my engine cover back on the other day i stupidly managed to break one of the bolts which holds it on... so basically the bolt is snapped with the remaining portion stuck in the nut.

Has this happened to anyone else in the past? how did you handle it?

not a major problem but i just wanna get it sorted..

    opinions wanted.

Just leave it. The other 3 will hold it on just fine, it's not worth the hassle of fixing.

Ive snapped 1 on mine b4 they r an easy fix, the bolts just tap through the plenum holes they have their own locking tapper on them. just replace with a new bolt tap it back up through the hole, u'll need a new nut aswell just remember dont over tighten again lol
