bt1 whats it worth

i have a vr bt1 5 liter with 160000 ks its in very clean original condition, its immaculate inside. Just wondering what you guys think its worth?

If it's a auto somewhere around 5-6 grand? depends how keen someone is with the current fuel prices might even struggle for 5 at the moment

Keeping in mind it's an ex cop car, and would have copped a bit of a thrashing sometimes. As Foamy said, $5000-$6000. They ain't worth much.

Yeah that about what I thought, as for the cop car thrashing thing I think any v8 will have had its days of thrashings, but would they have serviced as well as the police cars have been?

Meh, they have probably been treated just as well as any normal car owner. Serviced every 5000 - 10,000 km's etc. They don't treat them any differently apart from the fact most of them were hammered a bit more than most privately owned V8's.
