v8 dimensions

can anyone please tell me what the total length from the furthermost points from front to rear are on the VT 304, compared to the earlier 308 ?

Well, apart from the manifold all the other dimensions are pretty much identical. However, even with the EFI manifold the water pump pulley is still the furthermost point on the front, and the distributor is still the furthermost rear point....So, where ever a carbied 308 will fit an injected varient will fit in the same hole!
