Its had an adapter to suit 304/308.

It's a Ford single rail gearbox.
Chrysler also used this box behind the Hemi 6 and also the 318 V8 in the CL series. If has a fine spline on the input shaft it's the Chrysler box if has a coarse spline it's Ford.
A single rail is a single rail......Pile of rubbish!
The guy that owned it spent roughly $500 on the adapter plate for this box...
Would it be worth putting it behind a 304 or just a standard box?
If it was me, i would either go with the T5 if you want a manual or a T700 if you want an auto. I wouldnt bother with a single rail....Up to you mate!
