I can get a VT series II, 150kms, clean body, dual fuel for 4-5k, is this a decent price or not...
Bloke from works selling it
depends how good it runs, mate just bought a high km vt on dual fuel for 6 grand and its a bucket
got any rust?
blowing smoke?
what exactly are the bad things about it?
If its a good clean car than yes 4-5k is fairly cheep
most go for arround 7-9k
first time buyer so dont no much...
No visible rust, no smoke dual fuel was installed last year sometime...
Sounds fine
Blue but might paint it black
better to buy a car in the colour u want than dabble with paint
best thing to do if your considering it...
find out how ur workmate got it... finance or whatever and if its truly paid for,
play it safe and take it for a road worthy
the mechs will tell you exactly what needs done
but for 4-5k and a 150kms sounds like a good price
Yer true, however chances of get the VE clubsport body kit to fit VT in colour i want is slim...
What popular problems does the VT have...
Is the dual fuel a bonus, will it lack performance when running on petrol...
Ill get photos soon
Any good NOOBS GUIDES for cars... i no how cylinders work but thats it lol
duel fuel is a bonus
the vt's have probs with the indicator shifters wearing and minor bits and pieces breaking like interior plastics but out of a scale from 1-10 id give the vt a 7
good thing about them is that they might be old but still look modern lol
auto...
old man just told me what road worthy check is bla bla bla...
Is RAA the best place to get it done...
Any guides on card for noobs?
For an average respray, you're looking at 5-6 grand.

Any workshop that can do a Roadworthy is a good enough place. Usually, its the sellers responsibility to sell the car with a roadworthy certificate, you can sell the car without it, but then you ahve 30 days to produce a roadworthy certificate for the car to your RTA.
RACV in Victoria do a pre-purchase check which entails one of their "mechanics" checking over the car, and then detailing the problems and their severity. They will then give you an indication of whether you should go along with the sale. Im sure other RAC's will do the same kind of thing

I dont know wat their like in NSW but here in Vic they all have to have a certification sign out the front or their shop
would cost you anywhere between 50 - 100 dollars but well worth it as the car has to be sold with a rwc
with the dual fuel, if i run it on petrol , will performance be different compaired to running the same VT without dual fuel?
