Removing Minor Dents

Hi All.

So my car came with 4 small dents the size of hail damage... (5c coin give or take a little)
I was wondering what would be the best DIY solution to pull them?

I dont have a hair dryer or compressed air and I dont want to drill.

Any suggestions please??

hey mate where abouts are the dents if you can get to them from the other side then you need to put something hard and flat on the outside of the car against the dent and then hit the dent from the inside with a hammer very gently until the dent is gone otherwise the paint might crack

If you have room , use a tea spoon and put it on the dent and hit it with a hammer . This was you will minimise the paint from cracking and the dent will come out pretty smooth.

I had a dent doctor guy come out to take a larger dent out of my car. The dent was on the rear wagon door. He drilled a hole in the side of the door and used that as a lever point for some bent peices of rod and screwdrivers ect. Then if he went slightly to far out in certain points of the dint where he had to be a little agressive, he used sawn off golf tee and a lump of neoprene plastic to bash it in the high spots. He took his time and it took an hour to do as he started at the outside edges and worked his way to the middle of the dent, he didnt just simply push the middle of it out. He finished off with a little rubber grommet in the hole he drilled. Hope that helps

Thanks for the advice guys.

All ideas are helpful, the dents are only about a 5c piece size with no paint missing.
All of them are easy to get to from behind with a little time involved in removing door cards ect... so I will give it a go tomorrow using the handle side of a screwdriver for the ones that are hard to get to and a teaspoon for the ones I can get a hammer into.

Try and use like the plastic golf tee with a soft hammer,eg lump of pine, and starts on the outter edges if you can, i would defintly steer cleer of directly hitting anything metal with a hammer into a dint as it will give lots small bang marks.
