    Default Best Leather Cleaner

Need to give the leather in the senator an uplift, just wondering what the best leather Cleaner out there is?

I have been told the standard Holden stuff, problem is to me it seems more like a conditioner than a cleaner.

minux, I'd go with this one as well; I've used it on the seats of a Range Rover Vogue. It's an easy product to use and it won't leave a greasy feeling.

Yeah definantly the Meguiars gold class!! I use it on the hyper yellow VX SS bucket seats in my VP. Has a weird smell, but it's not a disgusting smell, just unusual. It's not THAT expensive, but is a bit more pricey than your usual run of the mill leather cleaners / conditioner.

Plus this one is a gentle cleaner and conditioner in one. Repco sell it. Supergay auto do now as well. Use 2 soft terry towels, one to apply and rub in circles with, one to remove any traces. And very true what ^^^ said, it doesn't leave a greasy film on your seats either, it wipes totally clean and smooth once you use the second towel over it. Wax on, wax off. Comprende'?

I use the meguiars leather cleaner/conditioner too but I don't use it as a cleaner. For cleaning I use washing detergent in a bucket of hot water. Then immediately follow with the conditioner. If you don't 'clean' the leather first the conditioner may not take to the leather. I totally aggree the Meguiars stuff smell 'weird' but not unpleasent. Hard to describe.

If money is no problem then you may want to look into some products by pinnicle, Swissvax or Zaino. A swissvax leather cleaner 250ml bottle is $48 and 250ml of Swissvax Leather Milk (conditioner) is $53 but great stuff. If you want something with the real leather smell then get the Zaino Z10 leather conditioner.

The meguiars one won't leave slippery seats. It's actually very good for 'over the counter' stuff.

That stuff looks promising but not necessary if your leather is still in good condition. Regular cleaning followed by a good leather conditioner will prevent cracking in the first place.
