Bit of a pickle really, dunno whether to fix the cracked diff cradle(doesnt seem to be that bad), or get a new cat back, because i just got extractors and a high flo cat put on with my original exhaust (nothing but pipe) and its that loud and annoying it sets off car alarms...
If you've got a crack in the diff cradle I'd be fixing that first for safetly reasons. A noisy exhaust won't cause you to crash and kill yourself or someone else.
Car theives should be treated just like horse theives and cattle rustlers in the days of the wild west... Hang them!
Don't be stupid. Power isn't measured by the size of your tacho
Exactly what I was about to say, get the car safe, then get it legal.
still drives fine tho, nothing out of the ordinary. i suppose tho, it could get worse.
Hit a big pothole and then see how the crack looks. Also chances are you're going to have some serious camber issues. Tyre won't last long. You can always get another diff cradle from a wreckers or ebay for $100.

have any idea if a vx, vy, vz cradle will fit??? i'd like the factory camber kit.
just seen this on ebay
VX VY VZ REAR DIFF CRADLE CAMBER KIT 17" 18" 19" TYRES - eBay, Other Car Parts, Accessories, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 21-Jul-08 18:39:21 AEST)
would be a good buy
The cradles from vx series 2 onwards will fit . The only thing you will have to watch out for is if you use the v8 one on a v6 you will have to modify the exhaust hanger.Other than that they are a straight swap . Its best to use the series 2 rear arms too as the have different mounting points plus they use modified bushes
