16" stockies?

my mates after a set of 16" stockies 4 his commodore..
anyone know if you get a 16" stockie that will fit?? i know normal ones r only 15" but been told that some model VE's came with 16" stockies??
is there anyway a ve stockie would fit a pre-ve commodore??
or maybe BMW make a 16" steel wheel that'd fit??
any help would be great, thanks....

u MIGHT be able to get a BMW 16" stocko steely.. if u cant, im not sure if the VE does fit..
i have been told and read somewhere that the VE wheels need to have the centre bore machined out to fit VB-VZ.
if u cant get them, i may have a set of 5x16" VT calais rims for sale!!!

thanx 4 the info mate..
i was in a tyre place the other day and i noticed a bloke in the back machining out the centre of a VE wheel, which i think was gona be fitted to a VY...
the wheels have 2 be a stockie like one that a hubcap will fit on... so the vt calais ones wont work man...

Can get 16's in 'cop' style rims. I have a set, think they came from Adventurers? Anyways they fit VB-VZ with no mods!

Just a thought, but look into the VZ stockies. A guy i used to buy mine off had them in 16" and told me they were off a VZ. If he wasnt tellin me porkies ... than they would be what ya mate is lookin for, an should fit with the same studs an hub
