    Default Ute center light

    Ok... i got a dumb question unfortunetly

    What is the center light on utes called? the one above the rear window?

    And where can I get one to fit a VU ? (Other than holden obviously)

    Correct, they are a bit wider then the normal SS style. TBH i think they would restrict your vision while shoulder checking. Plus standard hardlids cant be used because the maloo ones are a different shape due to the sail plane.

    So if you want a maloo style sail plane and brake light you either have to buy a maloo hard lid (new A hole) or heavily modify your normal hardlid.

    Ah ok... i fair enough...

    Yeah... the maloo sailplane and hardlid would look abit weird on a SS though probably...

    I'll stick with the SS sailplane then... thanks!

    ive seen people selling the SS versions on ebay listed as sail planes. i only suggested it as it may wider your search results

    i missed out on a killer of a deal from a guy on proutes... he had a black one for sale for 50 bucks with LED but it was gone before i had the chance to get it

    There was a FULL genuine VZ maloo kit on there a couple of days ago, black, had EVERYTHING excluding the hardlid. Front/rear bars, side skirts, sail plane and the whole rear tailgate with the number plate panel, all badges, spot lights, grills, inserts...

    $1500....
