Hi,
I ran SSSL Kings in the back of my vt for about 2 weeks and bent both my camber arms about 2 degrees. How does every1 avoid this problem.
P.S. Not the problem of the camber the problem of bending the arms from smashing them.
Thanks.
be more careful where you drive? slow down for speed bumps and rough bits of road.
Yeah... drive carefully... I had triples in my vx and never had an issue with causing damage to suspension components!
hmmmm thats weird whys mine f*kd.
I never went over any big bumps etc. and went ridiculously slow over speed humps.
was thinking maybe its the bumpstops? I never cut them. could this be the poblem.
^^^ I never cut mine either...
What exactly has bent?? Can you post a picture??
na dont have a pic.
Think its the camber arms. Pedders said they were bent as a result of the springs because all the weight was on them. does this make sense.
yer full set.
What happened was with my SL's i had no camber.
Then i put the SSSL's in for about 2 weeks then swaped back.
I was out bout -4 degrees. Went to get the adjustment done on my camber kits(again) and they told me my arms were bent because the car was sitting on the cross member?
what did they manage to set the camber at after adjustment? or did they not bother because of the "bent arms"
id also be taking it to someone else for another opinion
they generally tell me my radius rods are bent, and that the bushes are too soft for my radius rod, although it's never caused an issue.
you may also find that the arms may appear bent, however it could be the bushes.
pull the arms off, have new bushes pressed in and clean them up maybe give them a quick spray with some chassi black and go back, I bet they say there is no issue with them now.
wat r u doin with the sl's??![]()
probly keep em. lol.
I like the option. If i change my mind ill post it up.
Sounds like a load of **** to me.
Well i think somthings up. Will hopefully take the car to get looked at b4 next week. (not at peders)
I will post up the results.
