    Cool Blue Headlights

I have seen a few people with blue H4 bulbs, and they honestly look great!
Can anybody recommend a particular brand and model that are a strong blue colour?
also, I quite like the diamond vision that philips are selling but they are way to expensive at $160.

Your kidding! the european car drivers are screwed then. But these *arctics* do they provide 'more light' and have a further beam?

If you want "more light" just angle your headlights further up at the expense of everyone else

not so much further light but a brighter whiter light so its easier to see. reflectors light up better and so do the white lines in the road etc. they make a difference, having blue lights actually restrict your vision, it makes night driving harder especially if its wet, sometimes you cant tell if there working. i liked the blue look so thats why i had em but the practicality in me decided to change back to arctics. in my Vy im usin standard globes bacause i have after market foglights and i cant get a "white light". White headlamps and standard coloured fogs looked dicky so i changed em to match.

oh k. i just found that the standard vx ones were that crappy yellow beam which for some reason i find pretty hard to see at night. these are 2 possibilities im looking at

Vision Plus: Philips Automotive Lighting > Globe Types > Philips Upgrades > VisionPlus
Power 2 Night: Philips Automotive Lighting > Globe Types > Philips Upgrades > power2night

ive got phillps k4300 cristal vision in the vs
only reason as i got them out of a car from work
but when they pop its $51 a globe, so over $100 for both (wasnt happy when one blew then the next a week after)

as for results, you wont really notice. its just a more blue light which will over power yellow light of a car next to you
i reckon its more to do with the relection from the lense. if they are old they wont reflect as good

i bought the philips power2night h4 bulbs. supprisingly better than expected. You can see alot further, the light is alot whiter and generally easier to see road signs and the road itsself ha ha, highly recomment the purchase! and its only $40!

Depends mate. Do you mean the blue / white light HEADLIGHT globes, or the actual BLUE light parker globes?

The ones that actually produce pure BLUE light and not blue / white clear light are defectable. I was defected for them a while ago. But if you must have them, Autotechnica make them and you can buy them from Autobarn. They are like $3 each and are actually parker globes.

If you mean the blue / white headlight globes, then try the CRYSTAL VISION globes from Phillips. Just make sure you adjust your headlights so you don't blind everyone else via their rear vision and side mirrors.

Ha, they are h4's! [headlights] i decided to get the philips power2night which is 4300k and is a whiter light with a longer beam and is 100% legal and compliant with the r32 rule or whatever that is. Parker will stay the same. Was just looking in the end for functionality rather than looks. While the blue looks good its not exactly legal and is fairly hard to see. And i didn't want to pay $160 lol

Yeah the blue ones are only parker globes and they produce actual BLUE light which really is only for looks.

The white blue light globes like the ones you have, are the legal ones. The light looks alot cleaner at night too.
