Question HPC coating and high flow cats questions

Does anyone know of anyone that does HPC coating in brisbane/goldcoast that doesnt require you to bend over and take it without lube... ($$$)

Also are these cats alright? $$'s wise and quality wise? HOPEFULLY getting a nice exhaust on the cheap but it doesnt come with cats, plus i want to HPC coat the extractors.

Why are you bothering with cats?

Open up your stockies, will do the same thing at a fraction of the price.

I've read about that but never really fully understood what it entails.

How do they open them up? how does it compare with getting highflows?

The inlet and outlets of the cats are 'opened up' to a larger diameter to suit the rest of the exhaust. If those cats are not metal substrate, I wouldn't bother. With ceramic coating, I can do Pacey's at around $1100. What have you been quoted?

Ceramic coating is pretty expensive, but it looks good lol. It was a few hundred dollars on top of my pacemakers. Maybe $300? I got it done by Pacemaker, they have their own ceramic coating place here in Adelaide, I assume they could be ordered from pacemaker like that for brisbane?

    No cats inc.

Yeah i've got a quote agessss ago for 4 into 1's with HPC for the same price not and abba fan. I was looking at getting 4 into 1's but for $500 for headers and the catback cant really go wrong lol i could sell the tri y's for nearly the cost of the whole exhaust lol
