Dash painting ideas

Hey,
just lookin 4 some ideas on what color to go with on the interior of my vs, one of the colors is def white/silver but i really need a secondary color for the actual dash and not the facia, im goin all out on the interior eg headliner carpet visors etc...

im thinking to sandbank smooth then paint the actual dash slightly lighter than it is atm then do the facia silver but i don't know what color to do vents ect..

I would paint the vents the same colour as facia. I wouldn't over paint either. Makes it look tacky.

hey guys i just bought a vz commodore, i want to paint the center console but have no idea how to dismantle any ideas?

I wouldn't paint it at all. Looks cheap, and it actually LOOKS like something you did yourself.

Yeah, just putting it out there... on a VZ, don't do it You'll begin to dislike it very quickly, regardless of how you do it

Sorry, Daniel worded it better, if it was say a VN - VS, yeah i guess it might look a bit better, but no a VZ, if you want it a different colour, get an auto trimmer to do it properley.

yeah so what scheme/colours do you think for a vs?
Im gonna do a silver facia around the cd player and guages but dunno what color to do the actual dash and doors and vents etc..

Im thinkin i will do the actual dash a tiny biot lighter than it is atm but i will make it smooth, and the same with the doors and vents in silver but im not 100% sure if it would look aight or not... ideas?

i did mine in silver with a hammer finish last week, came up pretty well

i know i will do the CD player and gauge surround in silver but what color do you think i should do the vents and dash?
