Holden Testing in Kununurra...!
Was walking past the local country club today, and saw a whole heap of Commodores inside. Wandered in for a look, turns out that Holden are going to be doing some testing up here over the next month.
Yes, but its WHAT they are testing thats interesting... the LS2. Ahead of the VE or perhaps if we are real lucky the VZ2? They have a trailer with about 8 of them in there! Beautiful sight.
Wonder if they will give me a drive...They arn't very friendly to cameras but I'll see what I can do.

looool... geeeee I've said that a loooot of times..(and yes, roadies can count more than that!!!!).......you might have to pop your camoflage gear on mate.......pretend you are grain of sand or something...lol.....be good to see some photos though.....not often one has a test happening on their doorstep......(could always offer them a plane ride......lol)..........

Since then the place has become a fort. (not the pub, the Country Club) I've still got the camera ready, just in case...

One of my mates is working at the Country Club, one of the more junior guys told him they were testing the "New V8" and motioned towards said trailer.
Otherwise, I would not have known just by looking at the engine, having no engine cover for quick reference. Wish I could get a better look, I hate not knowing 100%!! It all sounds pretty right to me. Guess the acid test will be when they start roaring past in a few days time
