    Default Would this improve performance at all?

    Would removing the center of the afm help performance at all? Im guessing they put it there for a reason? does it stop turbulence of something? but it is removed on the ported ones,

    Im talkin about this bit

    My guess is just for structural integrity. Wouldn't do anything if removed so why bother?

    it will mess up the fuel delivery, its there to straighten the airflow over the sensors
    dont mess with it

    if u want a bit more power try movin that air flow meter a 1/4 of the way up the air intake pipe done it to a vl that was running a tiny bit rich got a bit more throttle response
