recomended mechanics

hi all me dads in geeveston tassie havin a lot of problems finding
a honest mechanic for his vt commy the last bloke just charged him an arm and leg for a service and valley gasket then give him a list of other things totaling the price of a new car....hes always had the car serviced every 6 months and is in new condition hes about 150,000 ks
any recomendations appreciated

Not in geeveston sorry, otherwise I would have recommended my work ha ha.

But, the valley gasket is a decent sized job..
