i repaired my rims gutter rash myself. Get yourself a dremel clone from super cheap for $30, grind and sand until smooth, then touch up with the correct paint. Damn cheaper than gettin profesionally done and you can do it in an afternoon at home with a few beers! IF it is a alloy wim just polish out with some Metal polish, $10 from super cheap.
Chrome rim you might be screwed and need professional work, but otherwise it is pretty easy

was thinking of gettin mine repaired, got a set of 17 alloy/powder coated clubby rims that have pretty bad gutter rash and quite a few chips:





whats the AVERAGE price to repair and respray a set of rims???
i dont plan on doing it anytime soon, have too many jobs to do at the moment, but thinking of either buying a new set of rims (different design) or just repairing the ones i have.

P.S- i know the one i have there is a decent looking rim, but the others need quite abit of work. Note the chips around the centre cap/logo

My rims were $200 to be powdercoated. Depending how bad the gutter rash is, the powder coater might be able to fix them up.
