    Default newbie question: VK SS dash in a SL

    hey guys, im a 16 year old thats just got his first car.. a black VK SL.
    and ive found a VK SS dash for $50. i want to put it in my cac but i dont know if the wiring is there for it behind the instruments. (for the tacho) can anyone help me!! :S

    best way is to pop the cluster out, i think there a couple of screws and they'll pop out, and check if the wirring is there and if whats there matches upto the other cluster and also is yours a 6 cyl or v8? i don't think it matters with the carby motors, but i maybe wrong.

    Yes it matters 6cyl vs V8, I cant remeber if the tacho has the switch or not.

    You will need to plug up the line from your vacuum gauge (or your going to have a vacuum leak), and the wires should be their, if not its to hard to run new ones.
