What wheels for my VY SS?

Hi guys,
Want to change wheels.

Should I stay with 18" (so i can keep tyres) or go 19"?
I don't want anything too common, but don't want crappy looking aftermarket stuff. I am thinking maybe VE SS, VE Supersport (20") or VE SSV (19").
Don't want to spend a lot either.

Do the VY's look ok lowered on 18's, or better on 19's?

Whats your budget? I know you said you dont want to spend lots but give an approximate.

If you dont want to common, then Id steer away from VE rims, every man and his dog seem to be getting them.

Anything under $1000. Don't want to spend too much as i am more interested in performance mods, but would like to get rid of my vy ss 18's. Also needs to suit the colour of my car (Hothouse Green).

If that's your budget then stick to 18's and keep your tyres cause you'll find you'll have to spend a fair bit to get decent 19's.

Yeah thats what i'm thinking... jsut after soem nice 19's that look neat... no chromies or dinner plates please.

sigs suit the vy ss a treat might be lil over 1000 to get them though

Hi. Not sure. Were you after tyres as well? They have hankook V8 RS (i think). About 80-90% fronts and 70-80% rears.

I'm in melbourne too. Not too sure about overall condition. Tyres are quite good. Would you be needing the 5th spare as well?

try trading your rims and tyres in and pay the difference, i got 800 for my vx ss 17's about 2 months ago.

i did it at the tyre factory ballarat rd sunshine, they didnt even want the 5th rim so ive got it as a spare.
