Hi All
Who out there names their car?
And if so is there any rules to this?
It just that i need a name for my car . . . and i can't think of one . . .
Cheers
Holden named mine already : Commodore SV8. i dont see the need to name it again lol although i was toying with the idea of callin it "sophisticated sam" lol - its a jk.
I just call it what it is, my work car is "The Ute", the Outlander is "The Outlander".
My mum calls her crappy kia, Dianna and i often call mine a POS, FKN PRK, CNT and wat ever else i say wen something goes wrong with it
Wrecking VL factory V8 only a few bits left still have full dash/crash pad
and have a vk 202 motor and 5 speed Make an offer want it gone
I don't name mine, but one of my friends named it not long after I got it...don't know what it was though.
Another friend sometimes calls it 'ponies' coz if you apparently that's what the numberplate says

MY VY SV8 HBD http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...y-sv8-hbd.html
My old silver VX was called "Nikki"... all my mates and even my family refered to it by that name after a while... which was funny when someone not in the loop heard me talk about "Dumping the arse on Nikki"
My current car is named "Bob"... "Bob the BEEMA".... even has an unofficial jingle to the tune of "Bob the Beema... Can we fix him?...." I think you get the idea...
I dunno... I name my cars... as does my gf now.... her car is "Penny the Hyandai" :P
No. Unless of course you count "my car" or "the car" as names...
Yea good points aye, i just like to give it her a name because I'll be keeping her for a few years, and they kind of get sentimental value if you know what i mean . . .
my acclaim is called Mia, i havent named the ss yet
it all depends...... if things are running well, it's "good car"... if I'm working on it and things aren't going smoothly, it gets called a lot of different names - none that I can repeat here though....![]()
In the typical tradition of aussie rhyming slang, mines got the classy name of bombadore.
The Calais is names "Clunky"
The Morris is named "Gorgie"
both were named by a close friend of mine, im not sure how gorgie was created, but "clunky" comes from the sound the diff makes
