    Default Removing broken bolts?

My bro asked me to help him get the last bolt out of his intake so he could pull it off. He said he'd already broken his ratchet and bent his jack handle trying to undo it. So I went around with my breaker bar and yeah the bolt snapped. It's the last one on the intake, back right (passenger side). We haven't pulled the intake off yet, but there's still some of the bolt out of the head. I thought we could give the stilsens a go.

Anyone know any good ideas for getting extremely tight broken bolts out?

My little bro rekons 'easy-outs' are tuff and should do the trick, but not sure.

Not knowing the exact location sometimes heat ie oxy set could do the trick nicely.

If it is that tight that he broke his ratchet i dont think an easy out will get it out it will probably just snap off it self maybe it the bolt is heated up it may make it easier to get out with an easy out

The best way to get out a stud is to heat it up as much as possible and let it cool, this has the effect of expanding the stud and compressing any corrossion in the thread, after its cooled down by itself (dont quench it) try giving it a tap and grab it with a pair of vice grips,i have removed studs out of a 100 year old steam boiler with this method using my fingers i might add.
The main thing you need is patience
