guage installation guide

i have had a look in the 'how to' sections, but i cant seem to find the link on how to wire up aftermarket guages...

i have a temp guage, and want to know about what wire goes where...
im also gonna be wiring up some others, but this 1 is first...

can any1 help me plz...its for my vn..
