hey guys i got a mazda 323 wagon i was just wondering is it possible to lower leaf arms(springs) if soo hows is it done cheers
the super dodgy quickest and cheapest way, is to remove the springs and turn them upside down, but as i said its the dodgy way, but it will be extremely low
other ways
get custom springs made up to suit the height you want.
get you current spring reset to the hieght you want
fit lowering blocks, they go between the diff and the springs which make the car sit lower
wats the lowering blocks and how is it installed also when da leafs are turned upside down would it have a chane of snapping???
fit lowering blocks, they go between the diff and the springs which make the car sit lower its the easyset an cheapest way to do it
yeah basicly they are blocks that go in betwen the leaf and the spring, your basicly making the diff sit higher above the springs, which makes the car lower.
you will also need bigger U-bolts, which is the U shaped bolts the hold the diff to the spring.
ill get some pics tomoro for ya
this 10 character bull**** sucks balls
sweet were can i get those lowering block from local autobarn, repco, super cheap??
For a Mazda it would be a custom job. Go to a metal fabrication place and get a couple of blocks of aluminium the thickness of how much you want to lower it. Then go to a trailer or bearing shop to get some U bolts the same diameter as what you have but just longer to accommodate the lowering blocks.
ohhhh ok madd sweet fanx lot guyzzz help appreciated
