    Default Lowering leaf arms(springs)

    hey guys i got a mazda 323 wagon i was just wondering is it possible to lower leaf arms(springs) if soo hows is it done cheers

    the super dodgy quickest and cheapest way, is to remove the springs and turn them upside down, but as i said its the dodgy way, but it will be extremely low


    other ways
    get custom springs made up to suit the height you want.
    get you current spring reset to the hieght you want
    fit lowering blocks, they go between the diff and the springs which make the car sit lower

    wats the lowering blocks and how is it installed also when da leafs are turned upside down would it have a chane of snapping???

    fit lowering blocks, they go between the diff and the springs which make the car sit lower its the easyset an cheapest way to do it

    yeah basicly they are blocks that go in betwen the leaf and the spring, your basicly making the diff sit higher above the springs, which makes the car lower.

    you will also need bigger U-bolts, which is the U shaped bolts the hold the diff to the spring.

    For a Mazda it would be a custom job. Go to a metal fabrication place and get a couple of blocks of aluminium the thickness of how much you want to lower it. Then go to a trailer or bearing shop to get some U bolts the same diameter as what you have but just longer to accommodate the lowering blocks.
