Autometer gauge problem

i have a issue with the autometer sports-comp gauges i have in the VN. when ever i turn the headlights on and the little back lit lighting comes on in the gauges the gauges start to fog up.

does any body know a solution of fix for this problem?

I was looking in the forum for info on the autometer gauges and there are several options, kind of confusing ones. Is the sports-comp the way to go? How did that foggy problem happen?

i choose the sports comp cause i like the loook. all autometer gauges are decent quality.

as for the fog problem. can only assume it's got to do with the cold weather here in NZ

where are they mounted? if they are mounted out side the car then you should know that autometer gauges arnt weather proof. if they are inside the car and have never been outside the car then sounds like they arnt sealed properly for them to fog up.
