Cost of window tint?

What would the cost of a window tint job on a vs Ute cost?
The darkest roadworthy possible and i fairly decent job

We made money by tinting our windows.

Bought 4 doors off ebay with tinted windows, also need alot of other parts from it. Sold the left overs and we came out ahead and still have plenty left. So all up we got two new front doors, all electrics working, new trims, tinted windows etc and made a profit

damn..seems I got ripped then.....I paid $345 at Tint King, with a lifetime guarantee. That was cheaper than Tint-A-Car thou. My windows were bare to start with so didn't need anything taken off, just a good clean.

alot of ppl get ripped off.. my dad did when he bought his car, they asked if he wanted tint... and he said yes... they stung him 400 od dollars.. and it **** weak tint.
But tint these days, is becoming cheaper, due to so many ppl doing it now.
and as for it being a ute, it wouldnt me hell expensive.

Eg: tint a car, or top tint or whatever places u have up there?
look in ya local catalogue or super savers kind of papers, and there should be a private tint place, a guy could come to ur house n do it n what not.

Im moving and im goin to be goin to cobar and i dont thinbk there's a tinting bussiness thee so i was gonna get in done in dubbo unless there wold be somewere closer?

some windscreen repair places do them....Tint King where I got mine done was actually a windscreen place that had the franchise for them

i charge 180 for top film dont pay any more then 200 ring mobile tinters as they will be cheaper (no over heads like a shop) find out what film they use

Fark ...... tint prices have obviously gone up in the last couple of years! I paid $230 for my vh sedan two years ago with life time warranty with 35% Sungard Film. For SA members try South Coast Window Tinting 8384 3335 should do a pretty good quote!

I'm getting my VN sedan tinted tomorrow. Tint a Car are doing it and it's going to cost me $265. Darkest legal tint and metallic film as well. I'll post up a pic tomorrow arvo.

the local mobile tinter in my area did my VS about a year ago for $190 just for the sides and the rear window would have been an extra $90 but it was allready factory tinted so i left it.

a ute should be under $200 unless you want some top notch high quality tint.

Darkest legal is so light though.

Rob at Hunters Hill tinting, is widely used in the modified Car scene for his quality workmanship and products.

$200 - $240, ANY tint % you want.

I reccommend the 18%, as it is BLACK, but still great visibility.

I will be paying $450 for tintxpress or tint mart tint a car? to remove old tint and replace with 18%! Comes with life time guarantee but they said if the damage my rear demister in the remove all process the wont fix it

Tint removal should be included in the price for any tint, not paying extra.

Not sure where you located, but I paid $225 for my ve sedan in darkest legal tint. The guy put this over top of the tinted glass and it looks wicked. would imagine that a ute would be heaps less to do.

Errr you do realise that means is not legal right?

Why get the darkest legal tint, but then have it put over the factory tint making the overal tint percentage darker...And hence illegal?
