no secret really, just a good quality can of heat proof engine enamel, a small brush and alot of patience lol

it looks like you even shined up the radiator hose, I hope you selected your product carefully, certain products and high heat = cracked vinyl/rubber

suprisingly the hoses were still clean, I used degreaser a few months ago to clean the engine bay but havent added any products to the hoses

nah i painted the red onto the V6 3800 a few weeks ago to see what it looked like, its been cleaned since and painted over again, still havent decided weather to re-paint the red onto it.

pretty clean, i did the same to my ecotec when i had it but it got dirty straight away so i gave up.

Yep good point! I'd imagine itd get dirty prety quick with the way I drive it,
I like to open it up now and then and the dust loves a revin engine lol

After 260.000 kms (highway kms) she was well due for a cleanup.

same with mine. mine used to spen a lot of days out in the scrub on fruit blocks, and the occasional trip to mates farms with some paddock circle work! if your in the country and in a ute you gotta do it. (private property!)

yep the headers were just painted with heat proof engine enamel.

im expecting the paint to burn off after a while so ill just keep re-doing them. Its cheap enough and only takes 2 mins
