Default Lsd diff centre info for noob

Now i know i am gonna be hit by heaps of "search" comments but i have crossed over from another forum seeking information on borgwarner LSD centres

look i'll admit i dont even know where to start hence where to begin searching.

i am after any info you have or links to threads or images or measurements of an lsd out of any banjo borg diff

    i'll tell ya why...

i'm a datto fan (hiss, boo) and some fellow owners and i are trying to find alternatives to forking out thousands of $$$ to find LDS s for our live rear end datto's, essentially the H190 diff.

we are exploring the option of ripping the guts out of the commo lds centres and fitting it to out own or even cutting down existing diffs but $$$ again.

    and lockers just wont do

could be barking up the wrong tree but i heard you commo owners are a helpful bunch

never even seen a commodore lsd either so ANYTHING positive you can provide me with would just be super dandy.

apparenthy the r31 skyline or vl lds is a close match

    Cheers
    Dan

hard to where i live to just measure up one
finding a commodore with an lsd diff just sitting there is not very common no matter where you are, lsd's of any kind dont stay attached to cars in wrecking yards for too long.

    cheers anyway guys

but i just found out the dattos (biggest live rear end diff) runs 29 spline axles and your commos seem to run 28

    i'll keep looking...
