Hi, I've got a few chips & small scrapes on my VY Wagon that I'd like to tidy up. I've taken it to a mate that's a panel beater to have a go at a couple of times, but he's missed a couple of spots.
I've got a bottle of touch-up paint that I got from Holden about a year ago (unopened so it should still be fine to use I'm assuming?) that's the right colour for my car, just wondering what the best way to apply it is? ie tips for cleaning, application, polishing, etc. I've never done any painting on my car before and don't want to make it look worse.
Feel free to redirect me to another thread if this has already been covered. Thanks.
It's mostly on the rear bumper and door handles (ie plastic underneath I'm assuming) as opposed to the metal panels. There is one scratch on the rear hatch door too near the window, but I'm not sure if I'll tackle that one or leave it to a pro.
Thanks,
- Chris
