My kids car seat seems to be freying the centre rear seatbelt overtime.
Its not bad but it is noticably stretched.
I will replace it as nothing is more important than my childs safety.
Anyone know of anything or any product that will stop the new seatbelt freying/stretching?
P.S. Its not a cheap child seat. (mothers choice brand) and there are no sharp bits or anything the belt can wear on.
The belt is wearing at the top of the seat and its not touching the child seat.
possibly an old belt thats never ben used and is sun fadded a little. also makes em brittle. possibly????
i had 2 child seats in the VN for years and never had any issues with the belts. seems odd. good to hear your replacing it anyways. maybe try one of those boy racer type shoulder pads that fit over the belt so it doesn't cut into your shoulder. may help where it goes over/through the child seat

Thanks for the feedback fellas
Ive replaced the seatbelt altogether. The car had a roadworthy done about 4 months ago and they should have picked up on it and replaced it then and there.
Cost me nothing for the new seatbelt from my local wreckers so im not complain'n
Also going to tint the windows darker soon too to help stop the sun fade
