two quesitons about buying springs from ebay.
VR V6 Commodore Sedan Superlow King Springs - SET - eBay Coil Springs, Suspension, Steering, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 21-Oct-08 18:35:18 AEST)
this is something there is a fair bit of on ebay.
would you buy these springs or are they likely to be knock off king springs?
when i emailed the guy he said he buys them "locally" and he is in hallam. victoria i think.
secondly. there are a pair of second hand springs. super lows.
VS,VR,VN,VP Commodore super low King springs - eBay Coil Springs, Suspension, Steering, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 17-Oct-08 17:46:21 AEST)
i've checked the part numbers and they match what i need.
but could the springs be worn out or unsafe?
i supposed its buyer beware and i guess buying new is better. someone needs to tell me that before i'll listen though. lol.
The new ones are probebly genuine king springs, they go for about $295.00 at supercheap so the starting bid is about right..
As for the used springs being on ebay its up to you if you want to risk it or not.
They might be worn they might not. Only the seller will be able to answer that one.
I paid $240 for my springs at SA Suspension Centre but that was a while ago. Shop around, see what GSL Rallysport on here can do them for. And don't forget to take into account postage.
pretty sure thats the same guy i bought my springs from and they were genuine king springs. paid $240 for the set i think that was a year ago.
