Sounds like they are just quoting on the tail pipe, not the whole cat back.

Yeah he's correct I went there today, you need to ask for the two parts and it works out at like $250 ish for the whole catback from supercheap.

hunt through wreckers, I missed out on a near brand new Redback 2.5 inch catback with a near new twin chrome tip, no rear resi and welded as one piece.

It was going for $60 own removal, I was gonna get it but couldn't be stuffed at the time, it was a hot day.

It's only $30 difference. How's it sound btw? Any drone? Give a nice note?
A Commodore is a passion. Anything else is just a car

$220 INSTALLED compared to $250 SUPPLIED. Not just $30 difference.

How long ago was that? And was that for just the tail pipe or the middle muffler as well?
The cheapest I have found installed in my area is $310 and wanted an extra $70 for a tip ... didn't bother.

Plus it isn't exactly a big job to install a cat back I couldn't imagine labour being that much...?
