Im looking to purchase a vz soon, just wondering what you guys think. Is it ok to go for something with like 120,000-150,000 kms on the clock? because they are a fair bit cheaper than the low km ones.
thanks
Steve
Cant see why not - most cars are good for several hundred thousand k's
If it's got the service books with it and passes the road worthy test.
I'm happy with my 9/05 VZ - had it for almost 1 year now (68,000kms now) and had very little trouble with it. Dead key/bcm issure and an oil pressure sensor. Goes well, stops well and goes round corners well.

Aa long as it looks liek the car is in good condition, the k's shouldn't matter a lot. Commodores generally go forever. Check the service history log book. I just got a VZ with 75000 k's and it is like new.
My VY has 170,000km's still going HARD!
AND ITS ON GAS!
$22k for an '06 Calais. Was originally asking $25k. You could probably knock the price down even more but getting it for $22k was like drawing blood from a stone so I settled for that. Looking on carsales, I think I got a decent deal considering the build year and amount of k's.
