does anyone know if you can get the kind of horns that are on fire engines?

I'm looking for something a bit different that doesn't sound like the crappy $20 super cheap air horns. ...

what do you guys all use as horns, I used to have a siren hooked up but I got told to disconnect that an d the factory ones are rubbish, makes my car sound more like a barina tbh

claxon, or could be Klaxon, horns give a very distinctive sound....like what was on cars from the 30s, but hard to come by....edit, just had a look on ebay and looks like there is plenty of reproduction ones, original 80 year old ones would be good, but suspect they would probably burn out easily etc.

yeah my dad has a proper old skool klaxon he had it in his vs ute but sold that and pulled it out i wanted to put it in my car but he wants to put it in his vy ute now heres a pic of it

i saw some at the markets(yes sounds dodgy ) and they were from italy(apparently) but they were loud... i was thinkin of gettin them, $40 isnt too bad

The fire engines only go BBMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMP becase they have it on for a long time...our garbage trucks have the same ones they do (I think, if not, very similar) And your ears starting ringing after 20 sec of it being on :|

If you want I can um...yeah...yo know..."borrow" some from the truck...if your interested lol

ill be puttin a train horn on my stato soon... will run off the airtanks i use for my bags.. at 150psi the horn puts out i think like 152Db
