    Default Standard alloytec with 227kw!

"For Australian buyers, the only drivetrain available in the CTS will be the 3.6-litre direct-injection petrol V6, which is based on the same HFV6 engine architecture as the local Commodore's Alloytech engines. This engine, which is designed to run on standard 91 RON petrol, develops 227kW of power and 370Nm of torque, driving to the rear wheels through GM's 6L50 six-speed automatic transmission with sequential shifting facility."

Anyone know why this particular variant of the alloytec is making 227kw?!
While our most powerful standard alloytec makes 195kw!

    direct injection, nuff said.
Research has shown that men usually sleep on the right side of the bed.
Even in our sleep we happen to be right.

Yeah it says it in the quote direct injection.

Will be interesting to see the weight of the Caddy and its fuel consumption figures. Might show whats in store for the VF.

They won't increase the alloytecs displacement in the Commodore. They just reduced power by 5kw to save like 0.2L per 100km, so why would they then increase displacement.
