    Default gearbox rear main seal

    what is the easiest way to remove a remain seal from the gearbox?

    its been sat under a tarp in the weather for a year and its all hard and brittle

    ive got most of it out just cant get the part which is recessed into the housing

    any tips?

    extension housing seal? just get a pick and pull it out, use a socket and hammer to refit the seal, use gearbox oil to lubricate the seal when pushing it back in

    yer i was trying but what i was using was just a little to wide, suppose ill have to try with my snap on picks at work tommorow then
