just purchsed a whiteline strut brace to suit vb>p
but have come too the problem of it hitting the top of the plenum (vl rb30)
the strut brace is getting returned and they are going to try and find one that will fit
now im after some opinions on a diffrent brand strut brace.
not after just naming some but rather personal experiance with fitting of one
the whiteline one i currently have
sat on the plenuim
wont reach the bolts

pretty sure whiteline do one that bends back and runs along the firewall.
here we go
https://www.whiteline.com.au/store/d...p?part=KSB501A
... or you could flip it around and install it the correct way.. and enjoy your new found clearance.

try nolathane or pedders, on my vs the bar fits snug along the firewall they prob do one for the vl
sorry pic is a bit big
haha yeah looks like you got it on back to front
yes but as i am running the turbo booster it wont fit as it hits the master cylinder
hence why i had it on backwards
looks as if you have the vt system right?
hakhawk
yes thats the v8 style, been trying to avoid that one as im not the fan of it sweeping backwards,
but if worst comes to worse i might settle for it, just making sure there is no other options out there

you could have whiteline modify one for you? make some brackets that sit it a bit higher, or get the bar bent a bit more.
every company is going to be the same basic designwith most likely similar clearance issues.
