Just wondering wat oil people use for their T5 gearboxs and LSDs? I have a VS Maloo and they're stock.

I was told to use Valvoline 75-85 gear oil by the guy that reco-ed my T5. Many use Dextron III (?) auto fluid but it tends to cook the syncro's.

I use ATF 95LE in my T5. What was recommended to me after a rebuild. Got told to stay away from Smurfs blood (Redline) apparently does more harm then good.

i run dexron III in the T5. your suppose to add some lubrizol to the ATF. i found with oil in the T5 the shifts got worse. got a temp gauge going on the trans this week so it should be interesting to see what temps it runs at. as for the diff, any 80w-90 should do, just make sure it's rated for LSD use. for more exterme use go 80w-140.
for the VN holden specified trans oil for the T5, all models after the VN Holden specify dexron III for the T5.
