    Default vacum line lengths

does it matter if you extend vacum lines on a engine?

bassically i am planning to run all my vacum lines a diffrent way which would proberly be a meter plus longer then factory way
    mainly engine to vacum ball

i recall someone telling me something about it and it can cause probs, is this true or just dribble
