VN series 1 engine into VR

as the title says is it legal? any parts i need? could i put the vr ecu onto the vn engine?

too much trouble find a vr motor seires one have thermostat at the and a different pcv setup you'd also need to swap timing covers for cam phase sensor

how about an ecotec engine then?

would require a wiring loom swap or get it retune to map sensor running vr ecu probably easier and better than a series 1 vn motor
