what does it mean when i connect a wire to the diag thing and the engine light blinks repeatedly. not in pattern just consecutive flashes. could it have something to do with the fact that my alternator is ****ed and my car has no electricity?
With the engine running? If it is, it is still in diagnostic mode = fan on, 10 degrees BTDC ignition timing and the flashing light corresponds to O2 sensor high/low but that's not how you check the codes.
To check the codes, ignition on, engine off.
