SRS airbag fault code

Hey guys, I got a SRS airbag fault code when I started up my VY II SS this morning. Now the little srs red light is on, in the bottom left of the cluster.

My questions are:

Is it safe to drive (or is the airbag going to go off in my face)

and

How do I get it cleared?

Need to go away today and need to drive my car, so any help asap, at setting my mind at ease would be great.

Hi Skooby ,you will need to get the codes cleared at you're Holden Dealer .The Airbag will not go off .It is safe to drive . You may not be insured if involved in an accident as the vehicle could be seen as unroadworthy if the airbag does not deploy .Hope this helps.

You should be fine, I've been driving around with my SRS fault light on for a few months now. (Just havent had the time to take it into dealer) :P

The airbags will not just go off randomly. However they will not also deploy in an accident. Get it checked, and like said, your insurance will not pay up if the vehicles safety feature is not working, as it is illegal .
