    Default What insurance?

Well my compulsory insurance is due on the 2nd, and my current company won't allow any performance mods.

What's a good company to go with that allows modifications to P-plater cars? I only want positive recommendations in this thread, no slandering.

So by 'compulsory' insurance do you mean CTP Greenslip to renew the rego or are you talking about 'comprehensive' insurance? A little clarity helps.
Car theives should be treated just like horse theives and cattle rustlers in the days of the wild west... Hang them!

CTP. Which is what i find confusing, my previous insurer wouldnt even allow me to do mods on the CTP only. Comprehensive i can understand, but aftermarket cam or not, i've still crashed into someone and god forbid they have a hospital bill that has to be paid for by the insurance company.

Looks like i'll be going with Just Car. Cheers fellas.

I just called shannons because I'm looking to get insurance changed on the VP, they had a really good deal but I want to read the policy first when it arrives in the mail to see whats the go . I'm just trying to avoid a Morton type disaster happening. Shannons said they don't take the car with 3rd party, they only pay for the other car and you have the option to buy back the wreck on comprehensive and that sounds just lovely to me. Agreed value was 4 grand and that's alot more than racv have it valued at

I was told shannons wont touch under 25s? Is that right? I might go into their head office and find out what the go is.

Doesnt look like Just Car offers Third Party Personal insurance. Unless i'm missing something.

    Dammit, it expires today.

Hope you didn't go JustCars! They UNDERWRITE vehicles! BAD INSURANCE COMPANY! Steer clear of them! They're basically AAMI, but because they underwrite vehicles offer the insurance cheaper. My insurance broker who's a family friend said dont go with them for that reason!
