well IMO i would say it seems pretty good but your car is pretty SWEET!! how much money have you put into the car and have you looked into how much the VZ v6 are selling for atm??? that would be a good start coz then you can see if its worth swapping your car...

thanxs man, i put 17000 into the car and i was hopping for the 13000 mark. still no luck and the vz sell for about that and more depending on condition and kms, im not to sure either way, so i thought i would ask the question.

It just depends...the VZ has a better engine (IMHO), and is a newer car, though if you ask me, the VX looks much cooler.

yeah thats what i was going to say the alloytec in the VZ but VX had the ecotec right by that time lol :P but honestly after doing all that work to your car putting in all that money are you prepared to do it again or will you just leave the VZ as stock??

id say well done, financially, now, its a much more sensible trade, cause even with your mods the vz will still be worth a fair bit more.

personally the alloytec is the only thing putting me off the VZ/VE V6's. Im a mechanic and ive got mates at holden telling me theyre more trouble than they are worth. its a 5 hour job just to replace the thermostat. But thats only what ive heard, dont own one so wouldnt know

not really. trade in value, and even private sale on any v6 sucks. you can get low km vz's for less than 15. clsoer to 10. i stay stick to the vx. im sure youre gonna modify the vz just as much as you did to the vx, so youll just make a money pit twice as big

agree 100%. the vx looks and goes better too. after all mate its just a vz exec. you have spent way too much money to trade the car and i dont think even financially it would be a great trade. im sure there is some young p plater that would love a fast v6 seeing as most cant drive v8's. When do those laws come to SA by the way? lol

we dont have that p plate law in sa and i beleve we are not getting it either, so that makes the sale harder, i have had no interest in it at all its on car sales the furom and ebay to get the word out and it still dosent help, so this seems the better choice, the vz will be givin to my wife so its not gonna be modded anywhere near the vx,

That VZ looks too standard IMO but financially it might be better to swap. You will probably miss your nice leather seats and all the chrome after a few weeks.

If its financially possible, why not sell the VX and get a VY-VZ Berlina or if you got the cash Calais?
