im looking into repairing my worn leather seats. the side bolsters on mine are worn as usual, and ive read about using liquid leather and some kind of dye to get them looking pretty good again. anyone tried something similar?
or has anyone got the leather colour code for VN-VS style leather?

Shoe polish?
If you look in the mags such as Jus Cars and Classic cars there are ads for this sort of stuff. They say that you have to send a bit of your leather away for them to match the colour and they send you the stuff.
I was thinking if sending them a headrest as a colour to match and go from there. If you go this way let us know what happens![]()

wouldnt your local auto upholsterer be able to do the same thing along with repadding the worn section?
interior code could be found on your build sheets.. usually under your carpet passenger front, or you could ask holden?
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!
yeah i dont think mine is factory leather. i think mines been swapped with leather devonish style seats at some point. i think most leather vn-vs is the same colour anyway so if anyone has the code and could post it up that would be good
