New memcal doesn't work....

Just recieved my tuned memcal, and have installed it and the engine wont ignite. It turns over and splutters but wont stay running. Is there something that I need to do to reset the computer, or is the new chip faulty?

When you put the original memcal back in does the car run proper?

did you buy it as a full blue memcal or an eprom you had to solder in yourself?

also, is it clipped in all the way?

No its the full blue memcal which has been tuned by a member of the forum. Its clipped in as far as the stock one was.....

Sounds like you got a dud - contact the bloke who did the tune asap. He should fix it up for you.
